As a senior who recently had knee surgery and was told by my surgeon that in addition to hiking, biking, and playing pickleball, I really needed to add weight/strength training to my exercise routines, I went to O2 Fitness. I had a membership via my Medicare Advantage plan, but I had not taken advantage of it. Well, I made the call and received my complimentary sessions with a new trainer named McCoy. He could not have been more personable and professional. He realized I was not going to be able to do anything right now with my lower body (because of my knee surgery) and focused on teaching me how to tone and strengthen my upper body. He was respectful of my age and lack of strength training, while encouraging me to work hard enough to feel it, but not so hard for it to be painful! It's great to have a trainer who can adjust a routine to the individual with whom he is working. So, whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete, I would highly recommend McCoy. In additon to McCoy, I also liked the gym. It was very clean, and there were individuals of all ages and abilities working out!
