I like playing most sports, but especially basketball. I host a fitness podcast, but when I’m not doing fitness related things I love hanging out with my dogs or playing guitar.

O2 Fitness on Daniel Island is really impressive – it’s spacious, clean, gets lots of natural light, and has excellent equipment and a great staff. In particular I am really happy with my trainer Patrick Ivain. I’ve been with Pat for about 8 months now and it has really made a difference. I joined the gym and started working with him to help me get stronger after too many years of insufficient activity due to my job and pulmonary issues. Pat has devised a program for me that is varied and appropriately challenging. I’d never do as much without his program and his encouragement. He’s also very knowledgeable about the human body and movement, as well as about nutrition. This is the longest I’ve stuck to an exercise regime in decades and it’s thanks to Pat. I can highly recommend him, and O2 Fitness.

I have never been a gym person, but I knew as I was getting older that I needed to jumpstart my conditioning for health and safety. O2 on Daniel Island is a wonderful facility. I like it’s spacious openness and the walls of windows looking out on Daniel Island. The staff is very friendly. O2 connected me with their personal trainer, Pat Ivain, who has done an excellent job assessing my workout needs and tailoring the perfect program to meet my goals. He is a conscientious researcher when it comes to designing the right program for me. Pat brings an enthusiasm to our sessions that make the workouts enjoyable. I always feel better after my training session with Pat, and I feel fortunate to have found a wonderful gym and the best trainer for me.

My family moved to Daniel Island in the Fall of 2019. My husband and I were both looking for a new gym. We chose O2 Fitness for the convenience at first. After 8 months as members, it has become more than just the convenience. After joining, I soon opted for personal training to help get me on track with some personal goals. I started training with Pat Ivain. He has tailored a program for me , challenging me and pushing me toward my goals and helping me to improve my overall physical health. I have been so impressed with his knowledge of kinesiology and his ability to develop such great individual programs, he is now training 3 of my children. My children are athletes and he has tailored programs specific to the sports that they play and what their needs are. As a family, we have been extremely happy with O2 Fitness and what it has to offer and specifically Pat and the work he has done to help our family reach our personal fitness goals.
